About the tides at Goose Creek

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 1.2 ft. Goose Creek sees a mean range of about 28.0 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most Alaska stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 31.0 ft.
