About the tides at Hayden Roberts Bay
Hayden Roberts Bay has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay. The mean range is small, about 1.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 2.0 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 2.8 ft. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 1.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 2.7 ft on July 4, and the lowest is −0.8 ft on January 21.
Hayden Roberts Bay is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay: highs come about 103 min and lows about 85 min earlier than there.
