About the tides at Inian Cove

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Elfin Cove, Port Althorp. With a mean range of about 8.7 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 14.7 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −3.3 ft on July 5.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Elfin Cove, Port Althorp, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
