About the tides at Irish Landing

Irish Landing has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Chicago, Suisun Bay. On a typical day the water moves about 2.6 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most California stations on this site. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 4.5 ft on July 4 and bottom out at −0.4 ft on January 23.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Port Chicago, Suisun Bay, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Prisoners Point, 2 mi away. For tidal currents, see Antioch, Route 160 bridge.

Predictions are based on Port Chicago, Suisun Bay.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
