About the tides at Montezuma Slough Bridge

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Chicago, Suisun Bay. On a typical day the water moves about 3.5 ft between high and low. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 6.2 ft on July 4 and bottom out at −0.6 ft on December 25.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Port Chicago, Suisun Bay, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. NOAA measured the tide here from 1977 to 1989 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Bradmoor Island, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 12 min earlier.
