About the tides at Myakka River
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.6 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The mean range is small, about 1.3 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 1.9 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 2.5 ft. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 1.1 ft.
