About the tides at Nachalni Island

Nachalni Island has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The tide range here is very large, about 11.1 ft on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 13.7 ft. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 17.0 ft. Neap tides follow on October 19, when the range shrinks to 6.2 ft.
