About the tides at Kizhuyak Bay

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.8 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at KODIAK, Womens Bay. The range is large, about 7.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 11.4 ft.
