About the tides at Dolphin Point

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 1.5 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at SELDOVIA, Kachemak Bay. The tide range here is very large, about 11.3 ft on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out. That is larger than most Alaska stations on this site.
