About the tides at North Palm Beach
North Palm Beach has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The pattern follows the reference station at Miami Beach, Government Cut. The average range is about 2.8 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.2 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 4.1 ft on September 29, and the lowest is −1.0 ft on January 23.
North Palm Beach is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Miami Beach, Government Cut: highs come about 17 min earlier and lows about 15 min later than there.
