About the tides at Old Capers Landing

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.7 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at CHARLESTON (Customhouse Wharf). On a typical day the water moves about 4.9 ft between high and low. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 5.5 ft.
