About the tides at Paradise Point
Paradise Point has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Toke Point, Willapa Bay. With a mean range of about 7.9 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 11.7 ft, comes on Sunday, and the smallest, 4.7 ft, on October 16. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 12.9 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −3.0 ft on July 5.
Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Toke Point, Willapa Bay, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Naselle River, swing bridge, 3 mi away.
Predictions are based on Toke Point, Willapa Bay.
