About the tides at Pitch Landing

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Waccamaw R., each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Charleston, Cooper River Entrance. The mean range is small, about 0.6 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. That is smaller than most South Carolina stations on this site.
