About the tides at Popokamute (Kokokamute)

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 8.3 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 11.0 ft.
