About the tides at Port Boca Grande
Port Boca Grande has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. Water here rises and falls only about 0.9 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 1.6 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 1.8 ft, comes on Tuesday, and the smallest, 0.9 ft, on October 22. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 2.3 ft on October 29 and bottom out at −0.8 ft on January 21.
