About the tides at Port Renfrew

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.47 m, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. On a typical day the water moves about 1.50 m between high and low. That is smaller than most British Columbia stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 2.52 m, comes on Monday, and the smallest, 0.69 m, on October 17.
