About the tides at Raccoon Ditch

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Raccoon Ditch, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Reedy Point, C&d Canal. The average range is about 3.8 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 4.7 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 3.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 5.1 ft on August 3, and the lowest is −0.6 ft on January 24.
