About the tides at Raccoon Key

Raccoon Key has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The average range is about 2.1 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is larger than most Florida stations on this site. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 3.4 ft. Neap tides follow on October 8, when the range shrinks to 2.6 ft.
