About the tides at Raven Bay

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.9 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Unalaska, Dutch Harbor. The average range is about 3.8 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 30, with a range of 7.5 ft. Neap tides follow on October 29, when the range shrinks to 1.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 7.6 ft on December 23, and the lowest is −1.9 ft on June 6.
