About the tides at Sand Head

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Sand Head, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The range is large, about 1.81 m on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 3.19 m. Neap tides follow tomorrow, when the range shrinks to 0.79 m.
