About the tides at Threemile Slough entrance

Threemile Slough entrance has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The average range is about 2.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most California stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.4 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 4.5 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 1.8 ft.
