About the tides at Twin Rivers

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Neah Bay, Strait of Juan de Fuca. The average range is about 4.2 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Washington stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 10.7 ft. Neap tides follow on October 30, when the range shrinks to 2.7 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.2 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −3.3 ft on July 4.
