About the tides at Whitney Point

Whitney Point has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The range is large, about 7.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 12.7 ft. Neap tides follow on October 11, when the range shrinks to 6.5 ft.
