About the tides at Wright Island Landing

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The average range is about 2.1 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 2.8 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 2.1 ft.

Wright Island Landing is a subordinate station, so NOAA publishes only its high and low times and heights. The nearest other station is Lanexa, 5 mi away. For tidal currents, see Chickahominy River Bridge.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
