About the tides at Yoman Point

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 9.6 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most Washington stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 13.5 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 13.6 ft, comes on Tuesday, and the smallest, 9.8 ft, on October 20. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 15.1 ft on January 24 and bottom out at −3.8 ft on July 4.
