About the tides at Aleck Bay

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.2 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Townsend, Admiralty Inlet. The average range is about 4.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Washington stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Wednesday, with a range of 8.1 ft. Neap tides follow on Tuesday, when the range shrinks to 2.1 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 8.8 ft on December 26, and the lowest is −3.2 ft on July 4.
