About the tides at Burrows Bay (Allan Island)

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Townsend, Admiralty Inlet. The range is large, about 5.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on Wednesday, with a range of 8.7 ft. Neap tides follow on Tuesday, when the range shrinks to 2.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.5 ft on December 26, and the lowest is −3.2 ft on July 4.
