About the tides at Armitage Island
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The average range is about 4.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Washington stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.8 ft. The next spring tides peak on Wednesday, with a range of 8.5 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 2.1 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.3 ft on December 25, and the lowest is −3.7 ft on July 4.
