About the tides at Strawberry Bay

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Townsend. The range is large, about 5.2 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is smaller than most Washington stations on this site. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 9.1 ft. Neap tides follow on October 11, when the range shrinks to 3.6 ft.
