About the tides at Bradenton

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The mean range is small, about 1.5 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 2.7 ft. Neap tides follow on October 8, when the range shrinks to 1.5 ft.

Bradenton is a subordinate station, so NOAA publishes only its high and low times and heights. The nearest other station is Ellenton, 3 mi away, where high tide comes about 39 min later. For tidal currents, see Rattlesnake Key, 1.1 miles northwest of.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
