About the tides at Cocodrie

Tides at Terrebonne Bay are mostly diurnal: one rise and one fall a day, with a slow change between them. The mean range is small, about 1.0 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 1.5 ft. Neap tides follow on October 22, when the range shrinks to 0.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 1.6 ft on October 3, and the lowest is −0.9 ft on January 21.
