About the tides at Cornet Bay

Cornet Bay has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. With a mean range of about 6.5 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 10.8 ft, comes on Tuesday, and the smallest, 6.9 ft, on Saturday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 11.7 ft on January 25 and bottom out at −3.7 ft on December 24.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Yokeko Point, 0.9 mi away, where high tide comes about 11 min later. For tidal currents, see Yokeko Point, Deception Pass.

Predictions are based on Seattle, Puget Sound.
