About the tides at Sneeoosh Point

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 7.6 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 11.1 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 14.3 ft, comes on October 28, and the smallest, 6.1 ft, on October 26. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 12.8 ft on December 26 and bottom out at −4.1 ft on December 24.
