About the tides at Yokeko Point

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.8 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. The range is large, about 6.7 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on Tuesday, with a range of 11.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Saturday, when the range shrinks to 7.2 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 12.1 ft on January 25, and the lowest is −4.1 ft on December 24.

Yokeko Point is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Seattle, Puget Sound: highs come about 26 min and lows about 38 min later than there.
