About the tides at Yokeko Point

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.5 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at SEATTLE (Madison St.), Elliott Bay. The range is large, about 6.7 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak tomorrow, with a range of 11.7 ft. Neap tides follow on October 10, when the range shrinks to 7.2 ft.

Yokeko Point is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting SEATTLE (Madison St.), Elliott Bay: highs come about 26 min and lows about 38 min later than there.
