Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at Boston. The range is large, about 8.1 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 10.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Saturday, when the range shrinks to 8.1 ft.
