About the tides at Dofflemeyer Point

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. Dofflemeyer Point sees a mean range of about 10.0 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most Washington stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 18.6 ft, comes on October 29, and the smallest, 9.6 ft, on Sunday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 16.8 ft on January 25 and bottom out at −4.3 ft on December 24.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
