About the tides at Edisto Beach

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Edisto Island, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The range is large, about 5.5 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 6.9 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 5.8 ft.
