About the tides at Goodnews Bay entrance

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. With a mean range of about 5.8 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 10.5 ft, comes on Saturday, and the smallest, 4.1 ft, on October 13.
