About the tides at Great Point

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.3 ft. The pattern follows the reference station at Boston. On a typical day the water moves about 2.9 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Massachusetts stations on this site.
