About the tides at Greggs Landing

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Ashley River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Charleston, Cooper River Entrance. The range is large, about 5.7 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 8.0 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 4.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 7.9 ft on October 1, and the lowest is −1.7 ft on January 23.
