About the tides at Jacksonboro Camp
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at South Edisto River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Fort Pulaski, Savannah River. The average range is about 4.0 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 4.4 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 5.4 ft. Neap tides follow on Monday, when the range shrinks to 2.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 5.3 ft on October 27, and the lowest is −1.6 ft on January 23.
