About the tides at Jaffrey Point

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.7 ft. With a mean range of about 8.5 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 10.8 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 8.1 ft, on Sunday.
