About the tides at Klokachef Island

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.3 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Sitka. The range is large, about 7.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on October 11, with a range of 11.7 ft. Neap tides follow on Friday, when the range shrinks to 5.5 ft.
