About the tides at Lenard Harbor

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.2 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Sand Point, Popof Island. On a typical day the water moves about 5.0 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.3 ft, comes on Sunday, and the smallest, 3.9 ft, on October 19. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 9.4 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −2.6 ft on July 4.
