About the tides at Ukolnoi Island
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at Sand Point, Popof Island. The average range is about 4.9 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on Sunday, with a range of 8.2 ft. Neap tides follow on October 15, when the range shrinks to 3.1 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.3 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −2.6 ft on July 4.
