About the tides at Moores Landing
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Sewee Bay, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Charleston, Cooper River Entrance. The average range is about 4.7 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 25, with a range of 6.0 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 3.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 6.6 ft on October 1, and the lowest is −1.5 ft on January 23.
