About the tides at North Branch

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at rancocas Ck, Del B, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Philadelphia (USCG Sta.), Delaware River. The average range is about 2.7 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most New Jersey stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 3.1 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 2.2 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 3.5 ft on August 3, and the lowest is −0.3 ft on January 26.
