About the tides at Burlington

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Delaware River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The range is large, about 7.3 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most New Jersey stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.9 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 7.9 ft.
