About the tides at Oceanic Bridge

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Oceanic, Navesink River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Sandy Hook. The average range is about 3.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.8 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 4.6 ft. Neap tides follow on Tuesday, when the range shrinks to 2.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 4.6 ft on August 2, and the lowest is −0.8 ft on January 23.

Oceanic Bridge is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Sandy Hook: highs come about 73 min and lows about 105 min later than there.
