About the tides at Patos Island Wharf

Patos Island Wharf has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Port Townsend, Admiralty Inlet. With a mean range of about 5.8 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 12.0 ft, comes on October 29, and the smallest, 3.5 ft, on Monday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 10.2 ft on December 26 and bottom out at −3.6 ft on July 4.
